August 2 - Red Cross Blood Drive
 As community citizens, it is our responsibility to ensure that blood is available for every patient who needs it, and for that reason, our Mix 106.5 blood drive with the American Red Cross on Saturday, August 2 is so important! Human blood cannot be manufactured in a lab. It can only come from volunteer blood donors. Our drive is from 8am to 2pm at the Crowne Plaza in Timonium. you can schedule your appointment by calling 1-800-GIVE-LIFE. Patients in local hospitals are counting on you to provide the lifesaving blood they need for treatment. Donors must be 17 years old or in MD, VA and PA, 16 years old with parental consent, weigh at least 110lbs, have not had a tattoo or piercing in the last year, and have not donated whole blood in the last 56 days.
