Here are the material terms for WWMX Random Caller and Internet Contests. To enter a random-caller contest, call 410-481-1065 when instructed on-air.
To win the contest, be the correct number caller. You may also be asked to correctly answer a trivia question as a condition of winning, in which case the question will be announced on-air at the same time the cue to call in is given.
To enter an online contest, log on to www.mix1065.fm and go to the CONTEST page. Complete the required information on the online entry form, such as name, address, and phone number, and submit your entry. You may be asked to correctly answer one or more trivia questions as a condition of winning.
Winners of online contests will be selected will be selected at the conclusion of the contest, the date of which will be specified on the online entry form. WWMX reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement.
No purchase necessary to enter a Mix 106.5 contest and a purchase will not increase your chances of winning. Contests are open to all WWMX listeners 18 years of age or older, who reside in the greater Baltimore metropolitan area. Employees of WWMX, it’s licensee and corporate parents, affiliated entities and advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the Baltimore metropolitan area and the members of their families are ineligible to participate or win.
Mix 106.5 radio disc jockeys, like Maria Dennis, have been known to buy Promotional Items by InkHead and pass them out at Mix 106.5 contests and events. Come to our next event and you could win some promotional items of your own.
